Gwyneth believes that it starts with just one class to begin to obtain the benefits exercise, not only physically but mentally as well. All you have to do is get started! Gwyneth has been a serious athlete since she could hold a tennis racquet in her hand. She quickly became an avid cyclist after suffering from -yet another- running injury and was urged by her doctor to take up the sport due to its low impact, joint-friendly nature. Gwyneth never looked back and has since become Mad Dogg Spinning Certified and IBFFA Barre Certified to share her enthusiasm for fitness with others. Gwyneth’s indoor cycling and barre classes are for all people of every level and her spunky music will keep you humming all day long!

Yung-Li Chen is a Pilates, Barre, Cardio+Barre Teacher with 20 years of experience as an independent choreographer and professional dancer. Health, fitness, and movement have always been a large part of Yung-Li's personality. She holds a MFA in Choreography from the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College, SUNY as well as certification from Exhale Spa (Barre), OM (Yoga) and Balanced Pilates.

Her recent performance credits include: 2015 NY Fashion Week for Givenchy/Marina Abramovic, Kate Weare Dance Company, Jacobs Pillow, and Judson Dance Theater.

Yung-Li's Barre Class is fun yet challenging, focusing on self-motivational goals of strength and alignment. Take your body and mind to the next level- you deserve it!

A certified AFAA Instructor, Christina combines her love for fitness and her background in academia to teach safe, effective classes to all levels. Whether you're a gym novice or a fitness connoisseur, she truly believes that everyone is capable of achieving greatness and encourages her participants' success in every class. When she's not traveling, Christina likes to bring world cultures to the studio by using international rhythms for Zumba and strengthening your agility by traveling around the room during Body Conditioning. Jeanette Palmer has over thirty years of experience teaching fitness & dance. For the past 18 years, she has devoted herself to conducting Pilates Mat classes here at Body Strength. Jeanette quickly breaks down each exercise to the lowest common denominator, then seamlessly offers more advanced variations to challenge her most experienced students. She is recognized for her articulate cueing, knowing each of her students by name, giving individual corrections throughout the class ... and for making you laugh! This is Pilates Mat taught with love, humor, passion, & precision. *Prior to receiving her first Pilates certification, Jeanette enjoyed a successful career as a musical theatre 'triple threat', playing Broadway, Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, and NYC Opera @ Lincoln Center.

Hiie Saumaa has taught Nia dance for over six years. She loves Nia because it makes participants feel like dancers! She feels passionate about sharing this practice because it incorporates such a rich movement vocabulary and so many ways to learn about the body, mind, and emotions through movement. We use dance, martial arts energy, and somatic wisdom of mind-body practices. We blend easy choreography and free dance. Each class unfolds like a movement exploration, with a strong focus on sensing the body in motion. Hiie enjoys crafting playlists of world music to bring out the inner dance in everybody!

Driven by an enthusiasm for both physical and mental wellness, Jana has become passionate about Kettlebells through personal training and teaching fitness classes.  She was trained by World Champion Kettlebell competitor Lorna Kleidman and has brought the knowledge she has learned to help her clients and students achieve their goals.

With a Bachelors of Science degree in Dance from SUNY Brockport and a Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Iona College, Jana has diverse knowledge of how to live a healthy and happy lifestyle.  She is a certified group fitness instructor through American Aerobic and Fitness Association of America and a certified personal trainer through American Sport and Fitness Association.  Her mission in fitness is to help people to better understand their bodies so that they attain maximum health and accomplish the results they are looking for.
